Thanks to my partnership with NAPE (National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity), I was able to purchase pizza and some math related games for a special Math Club meeting as part of our campus project on improving access to higher level math classes for more students. We had a great turnout and the kids were highly energized the entire time. This is a picture of the game Swish, where students mentally rotate and reflect cards to make pairs of dots and circles cover (Swish) each other. The 90 minutes flew by and I can't wait for the next event!
