Students from Mrs. Dille's (@MrsDille) 11th grade English class gave presentations over an article they had recently read. Here's the prompt that students had been given:
"From talk radio to TV shows, from magazines to blogs, ordinary citizens, political figures, and entertainers express their opinions on a wide range of topics. Are these opinions worthwhile? Does the expression of such opinions foster democratic values?"
There's a reason why she was AISD Teacher of the Year last year. Impressive class, not because of the show she puts on but because of the level of thinking her students are constantly demonstrating.
